Our read
Dotson hasn't beaten the position's weekly median more than four times in a season since 2023, and he topped 15 points in none of his 14 games last year. The worst week was a zero. That's the whole problem: he dresses, he plays over half the snaps, and nothing comes of it. The move from PHI to ATL doesn't fix it, and the sheet is blunt about why. A crowded target room costs him 0.9 points a game, and he's walking in behind Drake London with Olamide Zaccheaus and two rookies also in the picture. His target share last year was 9 percent, WR128 among 224 qualifiers. That's not a role a fifth-year former top-16 pick can turn into fantasy points.
The one thing he does well is stretch the field. A 15.4-yard average depth of target ranked WR29, so when it hits, it hits big. The problem is he touched the ball 18 times all season and got zero touches inside the ten. There's no short-yardage work to steady the weeks when the deep shots don't land.
The availability record is genuinely clean. Fourteen games in each of the last two years, seventeen in 2023, and never once a missed week to injury. So the 9-to-17 game range here isn't about his body, it's about a depth chart that buried him in Philly and could bury him again. Our number has him at 86 points, WR92 on our board, and drafters take him around pick 281. I'm not spending a pick there. Someone will name him late because of the first-round pedigree. Let them.
